“ We live a long distance from any Mercedes dealer. When our Sprinter based RV generated an EGR valve check engine light, we took it to a Portland area dealer. They "fixed" the valve, but the issue returned less than a 100 miles later. Further, we ran out of DEF fluid on the road as they had neglected to fill the reservoir during the A service they performed. Based on our negative experience with the first dealer, we decided to take it to Yakima Mercedes. The service manager worked with us to ensure that our concerns were met, and an EGR valve replacement was approved. Unfortunately the part was out of stock in the warehouses with no delivery date available. This was of concern as we had a long planned trip coming up. Mercedes of USA was completely unhelpful, they said they had no responsibility for parts. The parts manager managed to pull some strings and get us the part well ahead of when we would ordinarily have been able to receive it otherwise. Then the service manager ensured the work would be completed in time for our trip. Yakima Mercedes came through when Corporate Mercedes would not. Highest recommendation for their service. ”
